Promotion against in-service quota

Sub: PROMOTION AGAINST IN-SERVICE QUOTA

l am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that it has been come into the notice of Competent Authority that promotion of employees against in-service quota is being delayed by the districts that have created frustration amongst the teaching and non-teaching staff.

2. The Competent Authority has directed that the exercise of promotion against in-service quota be completed in all respect prior to 30.04.2013 under intimation to the Department. Further, minimum three Departmental Promotion Committees meetings in a year may be convened for expeditious disposal of promotion cases.
